Playing
Cards An
original experiment that was devised by Mike. The experiment
consists of an ordinary deck of cards and an opaque, brown
envelope. When an audio recorder has been set up in a room
a deck of cards is shuffled and one is selected totally at
random. This card is then sealed in the envelope without anybody
whatsoever knowing what it is. Then, the question is put out
to spirit that if they are able to, could they tell us what
playing card is in the envelope. If done under the right test
conditions, then surely a positive EVP that clearly names
a playing card (which ultimately turns out to be the same
one in the envelope) must prove that there's something intelligent
out there that's yet to be discovered. To date, this experiment
has not worked, but that obviously doesn't mean that we can't
continue using it. |
